1. Introduction
Welcome to Namma Power Run, an inclusive marathon event organized by Sutra Fitness & Nutrition in Bangalore. We offer various categories: 5km walk/run, 10km run, and a 21.1km half marathon, designed to cater to a diverse range of participants.
2. Eligibility and Registration
- Open to individuals of all ages. Participants under 18 require guardian consent.
- Registration is compulsory and is done via our website. Details like name, age, contact information, and health status are necessary for registration.
- Each category has a specific registration fee, detailed on our website.
- By registering, participants agree to adhere to all event rules and guidelines.
3. Event Participation
- Participants must follow the designated routes for their registered category.
- Suitable sportswear and footwear are mandatory. Participants are responsiblefor their personal equipment and belongings.
- The event will occur as scheduled, subject to weather conditions. Decisionsregarding delays or cancellations due to weather will prioritize participant safety.
4. Health and Liability
- Participants should be medically and physically fit to engage in their chosen category.
- The organizers are not liable for injuries or health complications arising during or post-event.
- A waiver must be signed, absolving the organizers of liability, as a condition of participation.
5. Modifications, Delays, and Cancellations
- Event details are subject to change. Organizers reserve the right to modify routes, schedules, or cancel the event under certain circumstances.
- Participants will be notified of any changes via email and announcements on the event website.
Waiver Form
In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant (or guardian of minor participant), intending to be legally bound do hereby waive and forever release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I (or my ward) may have against the Event Director, nammapowerrun.com, NAMMA POWER RUN, SUTRA FITNESS, its Directors, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me (or my ward) before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend, and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees. I assume responsibility for any participants other than myself that I may have included in this registration. I know that participating in this activity is a potentially hazardous activity. I (or my ward) should not enter and run unless I am (or my ward is) medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, and waive any and all claims which I (or my ward) might have based on any of those and other risks typically found in hatchet throwing. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me and anyone I may have included in this registration. I agree, as well as any participants I register, to abide by all decisions of any event representative relative to my ability to safely participate. I certify as a material condition to my (or my ward) being permitted to enter this event that I am (or my ward is) physically fit for the completion of this event. In the event of an illness, injury, death or any medical emergency arising during the event I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic and/ or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my (or my ward’s) immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me (or to my ward) including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment, and hospitalization. By signing here, I acknowledge I am 18 years of age or older having read and agreed to the above release and waiver. Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my (or my ward’s) name, voice and images of myself (or my ward’s) in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, video graphic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes
